Frequently Asked Questions
Is NetSaathi free?
Yes, to start. Notes, revision summaries, unit tests and full-length mocks (3 free every month) are free to start. Premium chapters (one detailed chapter per syllabus topic) are unlocked by packs. Nothing that is free today is locked behind a paywall.
Do I need to log in to take a test?
Yes. Free means free of payment, not free of login — logging in saves your attempts and syncs them across devices. A logged-out visitor clicking Start is sent to login first, then returned to the exact test.
Is there negative marking?
No. The UGC NET pattern has no negative marking: 2 marks per correct answer. NetSaathi follows the same pattern.
Are the practice questions official PYQs?
Only questions whose original paper and source can be verified are labelled PYQs. Everything else is labelled as original practice questions — never presented as official papers. The PYQ Library shows the live published count of verified official PYQs.
What do premium packs unlock?
Premium chapters: a subject pack unlocks its own subject for 365 days, the JRF Pack unlocks all 17 subjects for the Dec 2026 cycle (60 days), and the Combo unlocks Paper 1 + CS for 365 days. Full-length mocks are 3 free every month, unlimited with any pack.
Is NetSaathi affiliated with NTA or UGC?
No. It is an independent preparation platform. NTA is the sole authority for exam dates, syllabus and eligibility — always verify on the official NTA website.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The site adjusts to desktop, laptop, tablet and phone screens, and the login button stays at the top-right of the header.
How do I get a refund?
Packs carry a 7-day money-back policy if no premium chapter has been opened in that period. See the Refund policy page, and use the contact form with your order ID.
I found a mistake in a question or note. What do I do?
Use the contact form with the exact page URL and the correction. Verified corrections are fixed in the bank.
