Psychological testing is not one instrument but a family of tools for different questions: how able is a person, how creative, how is the brain functioning, what suits them, and what kind of person they are. For example, an intelligence test and an interest inventory may both be given to a school leaver, but they answer different questions and must never be substituted for each other. This chapter surveys intelligence, creativity, neuropsychological, aptitude, personality and interest testing.
