A poetry passage question asks you to read a poem closely, not to admire it generally. The examiner wants the speaker, the tone, the central image and the turn — each proved by a quoted detail. Example: if a poem opens with a caged bird and closes with the same bird singing, the turn from confinement to expression is the poem's argument, and any answer that only summarises the bird has missed it.
