An inclusive classroom is planned, not improvised. The teacher plans for diversity from the start: seating that includes everyone, materials in more than one format, tasks at more than one level, and support that fades as learners grow independent. Worked example: a lesson on fractions where some pupils use fraction strips, others draw diagrams, and advanced pupils solve word problems — all on the same concept, at different entry points — is differentiated planning, the heart of inclusive classroom management.
